Architecture in Motion - Animation

‘Shape’ and ‘shapes’ are one spatial element that forms a large portion of what is perceived by the eye. Architecture is often governed by varying geometries; often adopting a common geometry that forms a certain theme in the design of the building. The Red Centre appears to have such a theme, composed with a continual use of orthogonal rectilinear shapes, along with the curved circular forms. I explore how these shapes form the architecture of the Red Centre; and how as you move through the building these shapes remain a constant. This animation is a deconstruction of the area to a simplified state to display this recurrent geometry.
